Your loan balance, income and family details never leave your device. The comparison runs entirely in your browser. We never see those numbers, and there is nowhere on our servers for them to go.

What stays on your device

Everything you type into the comparison — loan balance, interest rate, loan types, income, filing status, family size, dependents, PSLF status and your notice date. The calculation engine is JavaScript running in your browser. These values are held in memory and, so the printable plan can read them back, in your browser's session storage. They are not transmitted to us and are cleared when you close the tab.

What we do collect

Your email address, but only if you ask for deadline reminders. We store it with the deadline date you entered, purely to send those reminders. We do not sell it, share it, or add you to a marketing list.

Payment records, if you buy the action plan. Payment is processed by PayPal — we never see or store your card details. We keep the PayPal order ID and the email address attached to the payment, so we can confirm your access and handle refunds.

A sign-in cookie after purchase. It is cryptographically signed, contains only your order ID and email, and is what unlocks the paid plan on return visits.

Who else is involved

  • Netlify hosts the site and records standard server logs, including IP addresses.
  • Supabase stores reminder subscriptions and payment records.
  • PayPal processes payments under its own privacy policy.
  • Resend delivers reminder emails.

There is no analytics tracking, no advertising pixel and no third-party tracker on this site.

Deleting your data

Email rogercramey@gmail.com and we will delete your reminder subscription and payment record. There is nothing else to delete, because we never held your financial details in the first place.

Children

This tool is for adults repaying federal student loans. It is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Not financial advice

SAVE Exit Navigator is an independent educational tool. It is not affiliated with the U.S. Department of Education, Federal Student Aid, or any loan servicer, and it does not provide financial, tax or legal advice. Always confirm your deadline and loan details with your servicer.
